Recently, there was the regular meeting of the Grand Academy of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. Starting the grand meeting, Olena Yaroshynska, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Associate Professor said:
“The Grand Academy at which we congratulate our colleagues on the new scientific achievements, artistic progress and the jubilees has become an integral part of our University life and the Academic Council. We have congratulated the colleagues who have made a significant contribution in the sphere of science. Last year was abounding with Doctoral Degree awards - 9 doctoral theses were defended. It is pleasant to note that in 2014 the University scientists have made ??a good start of theses defenses, in particular, at the Special meeting of the University Academic Council. In particular, Oksana Zabolotna defended dissertation on the theme "Alternative education for children and young people of school age in the European Union" to obtain the Degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences in Theory and History of Education, on January 30, 2014.
The staff potential of the University is continuously replenished with young Candidates of Sciences. Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, corresponding member of NAPS of Ukraine warmly congratulated the successful defense of the dissertation for the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Degree of Andriy Maksyutov, the teacher at the Chair of Geography and Methods of Teaching Geography at the Nature and Geography Department, Andriy Semenov, the teacher of the Chair of Theory and Methodology of Physical Training at the Physical Training Department, Inna Kozak, the teacher at the Chair of Educational Technology and Pedagogical Creativity of Elementary Education Department, Oksana Avramenko, the teacher at the Chair of Early Childhood Education and Psychology of the Preschool and Language Pathology Department, Inna Tkachuk, the Head of the Methodology Unit of the Chair of Enterprise Economics, Finance, Accounting and Auditing of the Economics Department. Natalia Semenivna congratulated the young scientists.
At the solemn academy the colleagues have congratulated the scientific supervisors of the young Doctors of Sciences on the quality upgrade of the qualifications.
