At the initiative of the Innovation Business Incubator and Economy of Enterprise, Finance, Accounting and Auditing Chair the scientific and methodical seminar “Organization and Economic Fundamentals of Commercial Enterprises Functioning” was organized and conducted. The event was visited by the successful entrepreneurs of the city Oleksandr Klymenko - head of PE “Comfort” and Polina Kolisnichenko - TC “Shalenyi Svit Mody” director, lecturers and students of Economics Department. The issues on the current status, problems and prospects of commercial enterprises development had been discussed.

Oleksandr P. Klymenko stressed on the fundamentals of commercial enterprises functioning in the market economy conditions, business strategy and commercial enterprises competitiveness, factors contributing to the growth of retail turnover, profit and improve the social and economic efficiency of the trading industry functioning. Polina T. Kolisnichenko described methods and structure of the human resources management in commercial enterprises, a mechanism of their economic viability ensuring. That mechanism should include the measures of social and economic, structural and institutional, legislative and legal character. That would ensure the long-term functioning of most commercial enterprises.

The seminar’s participants exchanged views on the directions of improving the commercial enterprises functioning. A lively dialogue showed interest to the topics had been discussed at the seminar.
