On warm April day the doors of our University were opened to the future graduates - about 900 prospective students from 11 Oblast of Ukraine visited USPU. The largest number of applicants came from Cherkasy, ?? Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv Oblast.

The future graduates of all Departments familiarized themselves with the administration, the teaching staff, the features and benefits of studying at each Department. The graduates and their parents talked to the Deans of Departments, Institute Directors, and Vice-Rectors to get the necessary legal advice. The presentations of the Departments, the tours around the University and professional master classes were a success.

Professor Natalia Pobirchenko, Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, also met the school graduates and their parents to communicate about the school she is heading and to answer all their relevant questions. She also reinforced the importance of the student government: "We are trying to provide all the conditions for the development of the student government, to elect the potential leaders. The main thing is that the formation of student government is very informal and it is based on democratic principles. "

The future students familiarize themselves with the way the University runs the educational process as well as organizes some leisure with benefit, and maintains the accommodation of the students. The guests of USPU visited the quiet rooms, reading halls, an exhibition in the lobby of the new building, asked the students living in the dorm some questions because the illustrative examples are always the most convincing. They familiarized themselves with the rules of admission to the University - terms of filing the applications and documents, the entrance exams, the selection of students on the competitive basis, and admission to the study. The handouts with detailed information about the University were distributed to the prospective students.

The applicants and their parents were convinced that Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University creates the best opportunities for spiritual, cultural, intellectual development, social and psychological support. Studying at USPU the students can not only get a high quality education but also become competitive specialists on the labor market, have an internship abroad, or to get the officer rank. They have a great chance to feel the real student life, learn a lot of new, unknown, and find new friends for communication.
