Over 100 participants took part in the international scientific conference devoted to the psychological and pedagogical aspects of formation of life skills of the children of preschool and school age. Among the delegated persons there were the scientists and educators from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Germany and the UK, representatives of city and district departments of education, government and non-governmental organizations that deal with early childhood education, teachers, practitioners and preschool education, graduates and students.
This important event was initiated by the preschool teachers of the Preschool Education Department of the Child Development Institute of Pavlo Tychyna USPU. The conference was organized in plenary sessions and five sessions in the following areas:
- education and socialization of children of preschool and school-age: theoretical and practical support;
- psychological and pedagogical assistance in the formation of life competence of the child;
- training of pre-school and primary education in the context of the competence approach;
- humanization of the educational environment of the institution as a basis for personal development;
- psychological and pedagogical support of harmonious development of children in inclusive education.
The abstracts of the conference in the author's edition will be published in the Scientific Papers of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The authors of the work are 8 doctors, 36 candidates, 58 post-graduate students and applicants and masters.
