The newspaper "Governmental Courier" dated June 14, 2013 published the interview of the journalist Vladislav Kyreya withTetiana Kochubej, the Vice-Rector of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The interview named "Distance learning is an acute necessity rather than a trend of fashion" was dealing with the introduction of modern information and communication technologies that intensify and improve the efficiency of the educational process and ensure the quality education for the future professionals. The distance learning was also mentioned as an alternative to the traditional forms of education- full time and part time education.
