Teaching and field practices that students have in different regions of Ukraine play an important part in biology teachers' practical training. During the period from 8 to 18 of June the first year students in "Biology" course made a trip to beautiful places of the Carpathians (Transcarpathian region, Mizhgirya District, Kolochava village). Variety of flora and fauna of the Carpathian mountains and valleys was investigated during the practice. Students made an exciting and unforgettable excursion to Synevyr Lake (990 meters above sea level), often called the " Sea Eye of the Carpathians", and quite easily, with great enthusiasm and mass of impressions, won Kychera, one of the Carpathian Mountains (1300 meters above sea level).
