Time doesn’t stop… Each day brings new problems which should be solved, and these problems diturb first of all the youth.

Therefore, at Social and Psychological Education Department was held a talk show “Early Marriage: For and against”. The event moderators were Veronica Smitanka and Victoria Koval.

Two teams took part in the discussion: those who were “for” (Yuriy Chorniy, Alina Varykasha, Anna Slobodyanyuk, and Viktoria Kotyk) and “against” (Anastasia Stasyuk, Larysa Vakulina, Oleksandr Pochtar, and Viktoria Tymush).

The participators and audience watched some video and presentations on advantages and disadvantages of early marriage. After, they answered the questions, expressing their own opinion. The thoughts and opinion differed as everybody had a particular situation in his/her life concerning the theme of the event.

The next stage of the talk show was an oral battle of arguments, during which each team tried to prove its position on examples of life experiences.

After this, the participators of the event showed situations which proved their positions. The teams coped excellent with this task, because the audience believed in sincerity of what was demonstrated by teams.

Assistant professor of Social Pedagogics, Social Work and History of Pedagogics Chair Svitlana Zayets was invited to participate in the talk show. She analyzed all the arguments of teams and expressed her own opinion on the subject from the scientific point of view, explaining the significance of marriage and family.

In general, the event had a success, it was dynamic and nobody was indifferent to it. We want to express our gratitude to event organizers and participators for the well-prepared talk show.
