Summer is the time when the students can relax at leisure. This year, the students of USPU are lucky to take part in Summer School of Polish Language and Culture. During the week, Alla Rozkydana, Angelina Kolomiyets, Olena Chopenko, the students of College for Interdisciplinary Studies and Tetyana Draganova, the student of Ukrainian Philology Department are participating in the Summer School University of Rzeszów (Poland). This was enabled due to the facilitation of the Embassy and the Consulate of Poland in Ukraine as well as Polish Cultural and Educational Center. 44 people including the representatives of six countries (Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Croatia, Romania and France) were taking part in the program.

The participants were divided into groups according to the test results in Polish language proficiency. It is nice to note that our girls have showed a high level of proficiency and the group will study an intense course in the language, history and culture of Poland. The school administration, faculty and university staff has created all conditions for comfortable stay of students and they do their best in order to provide not only good knowledge for the students, but also unforgettable experience.

Apart from the classes the youth can delve into the unique atmosphere of the ancient Polish city known for its originality and beauty. The program includes museum visits and tours around Rzeszow to other Polish cities. During the first week of their stay in Poland our students have made friends with many members of the program and got plenty of pleasant impressions and emotions. We hope their continued participation in the Summer School will bring them good results.
