In the end of February at the stadium “Umanfermmash” in Uman was held a winter competition in football among women, in which participated 8 teams from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Ternopol, Chernigov, Kostopol and Uman. Uman district was represented by two teams – “Panthers” and “Yatran-Basis-Umanfermmash”, consisted of students of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Kateryna Bogush, Yana Gurska, Victoria Muzyka, Roksolana Komar, Olena Tsykalenko.

During the tournament our teams met each other in semifinal. The strongest turned out to be the team “Yatran-Basis-Umanfermmash”, that became a bronze prize-winner in winter championship of Ukraine in football.
