In the framework of International Student’s Day celebration on the initiative of family and youth matters department at Uman city council was held a competition “Student Family”.

On the 19th of November in sport complex “Amarant” was held a final stage of competitions between families of students. Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was represented by 2 couples: Vadym and Kateryna Safo (History Department Student), Eduard Sukhomlyn and Yaryna Umanets (Social and Psychological Education Department).

The competent jury was represented by deputy head of mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk and head of family and youth matters department Natalia Vdovychenko, head of culture and tourism department Tetyana Geyko and representative from sport complex “Amarant” Oksana Ovcharuk.

During different competitions students-couples demonstrated their talents, erudition, and the main – love and respect. In such a way the young families tried demonstrate that their family is an ideal family. Many friends of the families came to support them. The atmosphere of the competition was full of positive emotions and love.

In the city competition “Student Family” had won a couple of Eduard Sukhomlyn and Yaryna Umanets, Safo’s took II place. All the young couples received presents for participation in the competition, and the audience – a lot of good emotions and good mood.
