A festive opening of sports and athletics meeting of first-year students took place at USPU Physical Education Department.

In the framework of the meeting was held a competition in track and field athletics, in which participated about 100 students from four teams. There were 6 kinds of competitions in the program: running 100 m, 400 m, 800 m, jumping, putting the shot, relay race.

As a result 14 group at Physical Education Department has one, groups 11, 12 and 13 took 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.

We congratulate the winners and wish them further achievements in sports.

Soon there will be competitions in basketball, volleyball, mini-football, track-and-field cross race, table tennis and heavy athletics.
