The roundtable participants emphasize that people with disabilities should receive the necessary support in the process of obtaining education, organization of work and in social life. The process of training people with disabilities is closely linked to the process of socialization throughout life. Therefore, the integration of these people into the learning process greatly facilitates their further integration into society as it involves joint education of people with disabilities with others. However, it was stressed that the involvement of people with different health conditions into the learning environment does not guarantee them equal access to education because some of them may experience specific educational needs. Therefore, to ensure equal opportunities for education for people with disabilities it is necessary to introduce a set of measures to ensure a complete process of real involvement of persons with disabilities into the educational process.

The round table participants drew an unanimous conclusion on the need for regional consolidation of efforts of family and social institutions, NGOs and the community at large to solve urgent problems not only now but also in the future, to ensure equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
