Eighty three years ago our country suffered from plague of Famishment.
Famishment of 1932-1933 is a big humanitarian catastrophe in humanity’s history and our national history. It’s difficult to realize that our nation experienced both demographic and national blow.

Destined to death, Ukraine survived. In spite of having again good harvest in the country, we’ll always remember a terrible crime and commemorate the perished.

On this day, let’s honour millions of perished people from famine by a minute of silence and setting fire to a candle. Let’s pray for their souls and peace…
