The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) hosted a seminar on Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The seminar was attended by 30 colleagues from different Ukrainian universities. Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education, Professor Oksana Kravchenko and Associate Professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Iryna Postolenko.

The purpose of the seminar is to implement Liberal Arts in the Ukrainian higher education system, to define the role of Liberal Arts in the formation of the university as an innovative institution, to identify opportunities for shaping the individual trajectory of a higher education student, which is implemented through a philosophically meaningful programme for the training of an adaptive personality with a focus on interdisciplinarity.
