From the 1st until the 31st of April Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Scientific Library tests access to six thematic bases from company EBSCO Publishing, in particular:

• Academic Search Complete – multidisciplinar data base from company EBSCO, which offers access to the most popular and valuable scientific magazines in different branches. The base carries out an indexation of 14 000 magazines, offers access to full texts of 9000 magazines, majority of which (7800) are reviewed. Among the organizations which offer magazines in the data base are: American Institute of Physics, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley-Blackwell, Hindawi Publishing Corporation, etc.
• Applied Science & Technology Source – data base of applied and computer sciences. 1400 full text magazines offer access to leading business periodicals, professional, technical and popular magazines, manuals, conferences materials.
• Legal Source – data base in juridical problems, which offers access to more than 870 full text magazines in law, and is a competent source of information in urgent investigations, ideas and tendencies in legal sphere. The base includes scientific articles, conferences and symposiums collections, law documents, judicial decisions, statutes, books, reviews, etc.
• Political Science Complete includes investigations in comparative politology, humanities, international relations, law, legislation, political theories, etc. The base offers access to full texts 660 magazines, 300 books and monographs, 45000 conferences collections.
• Humanity Source – is a resource for students, lecturers and scientists of different branches in humanities. The base offers access to full texts 1500 magazines, bibliographic data, interviews, full literary texts, reviews and books, films, musicals, radio and TV programmes. The base includes such problems as archeology, history, gender studios, linguistics, literary criticism, philosophy, religion, different kinds of arts.
• Education Source – is one of the largest pedagogical data bases, which offers access to full texts 1900 magazines, full texts books, conferences materials and collections, reports, statistic yearbooks and 5 mln. articles citations in educational problems.

The collection SpringerLink Online Journal includes over 2200 reviewed magazines in English, which have indexation and are organized under the headings.

The platform SpringerLink from Springer Science+Business Media gives full texts access to 2200 reviewed scientific magazines in STM (Science, Technology, Medicine), business and management, social studies, sciences about life, and over 170 000 titles with possibilities of search in full texts and books downloading in PDF and HTML.

The access to the resources is possible in local network of the university.
