In March, 2015 head of Information Technologies and Computer Ensuring Department of library Tetyana Naykus and head of editorial office of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Liudmyla Zagoruiko participated in the III International scientific and practical conference “Scientific Communication in Digital Age” (National University “Kyiv Mohyla Academy”, Kyiv).
Speakers of the conference raised urgent problems dedicated to creating and spreading of new models of scientific magazines, scientific measurement, bibliography measurement, new electronic resources to education and science, world tendencies in open access to scientific communication and problems of intellectual property, modern information and communication technologies, cooperative work of libraries, creating and using of scientific electronic resources and electronic libraries for education and science.
The round table “An open access and university repository” was held the last day of the III International scientific and practical conference “Scientific Communication in Digital Age”; the participators got to know about the following:
- modern world tendencies and EU programs of open access;
- role of “green way” of open access in scientific communication;
- “hidden” problems of institution’s repository;
- peculiarities of NUKMA institution repository development.
