In the juridical clinic of the university took place round table meeting, dedicated to anniversary of General Assembly of UNO resolution signing up General Declaration of Human Rights on December, the 10th 1948. The event was held on assistance of Uman Regional Justice Administration, History Department, Social Sciences Chair and juridical clinic of the university. The fifth year student of History Department, members of the juridical clinic, who study in specialty “Jurisprudence”, attended lectures on the above mentioned theme.

The importance and actuality of the declaration told director of the juridical clinic, university legal adviser Vasyl Pidlisnyi. The main specialist in Uman Regional Justice Administration Victor Kvasyuk defined the conditions of up General Declaration of Human Rights adoption, its place in contemporary world and importance of human rights guaranty in each state. The main specialist in Uman Regional Justice Administration Olena Blaschuk paid attention to the significance of General Declaration in formation and securing of the human rights in national legislation, espacially in the Constitution of Ukraine. Also she was speaking about the place of people’s rights in The Main Law and presented its classification. The lecturer of Social Sciences Chair and juridical clinic consultant Oleksiy Oleynichuk made a report under the title ”General Declaration of Human Rights and the other international guaranties of human rights and liberties in the context of the national legislation”.

A very interesting was a debate between students and juridical specialists, which revealed practical mechanism of human rights securing, European Convention on Human Rights Protection meaning and role of European Court in Human Rights ensuring.
