Recently at gym of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was held a festive ceremony of summing up results of youth sports games among educational establishments of I-II and III-IV levels of accreditation and lyceum.
During the academic year youth of Uman competes in different kinds of sports: valleyball, basketball, mini-footbal, table tennis, track and field events, football, etc. The previous year in the competitions had participated 1200 students.
On he occasion of summing up the results representatives of Uman professional lyceum, Uman professional agrarian college, P. Demutskyi Uman regional musical school, Agrotechnical college of UNUG, Taras Shevchenko Uman humanitarian and pedagogical college, Uman National University of Gardening and PavloTychyna Uman State Pedagogical University formed up. Honorary guests and organization committee members visited the ceremony. Among them: deputy head of mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk, head of Physical Training and Sports Department at Uman city council Olga Remez, director of Uman Centre of Physical Training “Sports for everybody” Anna Fedotova, first pro-rector of USPU Andriy Gedzyck, pro-rector in scientific and pedagogical work Olena Kirdan, dean of Physical Training Department Galyna Bezverkhnia.
After a solemn performance of Hymn of Ukraine, cordial congratulations to young sportsmen from deputy head of mayor of the city Lyudmyla Kyrylyuk and head of Physical Training and Sports Department at Uman city council Olga Remez was held the most pleasant part of the event – rewarding of the winners.
As a result of competitions, the team of our university took I place among HEI of III-IV levels of accreditation and received a Cup and diploma. Rector of the university, professor Oleksandr Besludniy was rewarded by diploma of gratitude for creation all necessary conditions for sports development in the university.
Diplomas also received dean of Physical Training Department Galyna Bezverkhnia, director of sports club Volodymyr Scherbyna, teachers of the department Mykola Maevskiy, Tetyana Osadchenko, Volodymyr Komar, Oleg Androschuk, Ruslan Maslyk, Sergiy Ilchenko, Sergiy Penzay.
It’s a pleasure to say, that students received certificates of “Master of Sports of Ukraine”. Honorary title is conferred to the following students:
Yulia Yriychuk – a first-year student of Physical Training Department, department of canoe rowing and Uman sports school №1 (coach – Volodymyr Ischenko);
Nataliya Melnyck – a third-year student of Physical Training Department, department of canoe rowing and Uman sports school №1 (coach – Vladyslav Griaznov);
Bohdan Scherbak – a second-year student of Physical Training Department, department of canoe rowing and Uman sports school №1 (coach – Oleksandr Rozhanskiy);
Nazar Scherbak – a second-year student of Physical Training Department, department of canoe rowing and Uman sports school №1 (coach – Oleksandr Rozhanskiy).
The event was prolonged by a sports show program, prepared by our students – courage and enduring boys-weightlifters, and plastic girls-acrobats.
All the rewards confirm that our university is the best establishment in the city in physical training and sports; it has sports potential and all necessary conditions for its development. We are proud of ous sportsmen achievements and wish them success. New victories in sports and world fame!
