This week Cherkasy Regional Institute of Postgraduate education of pedagogical employees was holding the "Education of Cherkasy Oblast 2014" XIX Regional Exhibition of educational technologies dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko, 60 anniversary of the Cherkasy Oblast and 70 anniversary of the liberation of the region and Ukraine from the Nazis. The purpose of the exhibition was to improve the professional experience of educators in the region, to introduce the new technologies in teaching practice. The exhibition was focused on the ways of implementation of the concept of education; new state standards; perspectives of specialized high school program.

The pedagogical staff in the region who visited the exhibition evinced a lively interest in the scientific achievements of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University teachers. There was a good choice as the University scientists presented over a hundred publications (manuals, textbooks, monographs, guidelines for teachers) in the USPU pavilion.

The exhibition also included the seminars, workshops on topical issues of educational activities, a competition for the best series of digital resources for the 1 - 11 grades.
