On October 23, 2014 report and elective university trade union committee conference took place. The meeting was held in accordance with all the necessary procedures.

The report speech made the head of trade union committee, Assistant Professor Oleksandr Osadchiy. He was speaking about the main activities of the committee during the report period, in particular, about social work with students, cultural and sport events, achievements and rewards, of which our university can be proud.

The report of inspection committee was announced by a head of committee Nataliya Skrypnyk.

During the reports discussion conference delegates gave a positive mark to trade union committee work. It was mentioned that primary trade union organization ensured social partnership and protection of students and teaching and professor staff.

The assessment of trade union committee activity made Oksana Braslavska, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, head of Georaphy and Methods of its Teaching Traning Chair; Olena Dudnyk, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant Professor, dean of Arts and Pedagogics Department; Nataliya Alekseeva, university stage-director, director of Students National Drama and Comedy Theatre; Liliya Krutchenko, deputy head of trade union committee; Alina Polushyna, psychological service coordinator. Each of them underlined that the committee paid much attention to university creative association work organization; promoted to students participation in international competitions and festivals; distributed financial resources for health improvement, student leisure activities organization, working conditions improvement, and residing in the hostels.

In report and elective conference from Educational and Scientific Staff trade union committee took part the head of the committee Olga Zhaldak; she thanked USPU trade union committee head and all the delegates for productive collaboration and cooperation. She accentuated that in nowadays difficult situation there is no infringement of salary, scholarship, rewards paying in the university. From the head’s words, the regional educational staff trade union committee can be proud of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University trade union committee. In the end of her speech Olga Zhaldak wished the workers of our university God’s blessing.

By unanimous voting the delegates approved trade union committee work and its report.

By a majority of votes the head of the USPU trade union committee for the next period was chosen Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Assistant Professor Oleksandr Osadchiy, his deputy head became once again Liliya Krutchenko.

In the end of the meeting the delegates chose trade union committee members and members of inspection committee, regional report and elective committee conference delegates, regional committee members.
