Summer is the best time to improve the children's health and encourage their development. The fresh air, the sun, the water, good nutrition of fruit and fresh berries, reduced workload, increase in motor activity have significant positive health effects for the children. All this is available in the children camps.

The Trade Union of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University is very helpful here. Moreover, the Trade Union of the University considers recreation and wellness of the children as a priority task in their work. This issue is always in the focus of Oleksandr Osadchiy, the Head of the Trade Union and his assistants. For example, 46 children have improved their health in June 2014, 40 of those joining the school camps (100% paid by the trade union) and three of those in child health clinics of Beigorod - Dnistrovskiy. In July the children of the employees of our University participated in the summer health campaign 2014 at the expense of the Trade Union Committee funds and the Social Insurance Fund. In particular, the Trade Union Committee partially covered the cost of stay in the children’s camps of Cherkasy and Kirovohrad Oblasts (40%). The Social Insurance Fund partially financed the children’s stay in the camps (30%). In August, the trip packages are ordered for the children to stay in the camps.

Bright impressions of the children staying at the camps prove that the wellness campaign is successful and efficient.
