Recently in Cherkassy was held Regional Cup in boxing. In the traditional championship participated the best boxers of the region, which includes 8 teams from sports school “Victoria”, sports school “Volcano”, sports team at sports school “Spartacus”, sports team “Katrenko brothers”, Cherkassy regional sports school “Mriya”, village Chornobay, Uman – at about 60 boxers altogether.

In the competition took part a student from Physical Training Department at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Andriy Smirnov, who demonstrated boxing of high level in fighting with the best boxers of the region. In weigh category up to 64 kg Andriy took the I place.
