As part of the "Environment Day" all-Ukrainian move, under the auspices of the "Environment and Education" Research Laboratory, a number of nature conservation actions were organized in cooperation with the teachers and the students of “Nature and Geography” Department and teachers and pupils of the secondary schools.

On April the 12th there was "for the purity of small reservoirs" environmental move for cleaning up the coast of the Umanka River of rubbish, strengthening the coastline by planting some new trees. The action was carried out jointly with the teachers and the students grades 7-9 of Uman school № 3.

April 15 the "For a clean environment" environmental move was organized to encourage the students to clean up and improve the external landscaping at the agrobiostation of our University.
