One of the priority directions in art education is to engage the students into the creation and implementation of cultural projects the main purpose of which is to develop the cultural personalities of future professionals. The other day, there was the "Remember magic sound of waltz ..." presentation of artistic and educational project organized by the Arts and Pedagogics Department (associate sponsors Zoya and Vsevolod Syrota).

The creative project represented the integration of different kinds of art: music, fine arts, choreography.

To implement the project a few creative artistic and educational workshops were set: the art workshop (under the guidance of Olga Muzyka, Head of the Fine Arts Department, Associate Professor), the dance studio (under the guidance of Ludmyla Androschuk, Head of Choreography and Arts Department, Associate Professor), and the music workshop (under the guidance of Nadiya Baldynyuk, Lecturer in music Art).

The presentation turned into a celebration of music, dance, and visual arts. Choir, dance, instrumental ensembles, soloists, and singers showed the history of waltz dating back to the 17-20 century. Each performance of project participants was a lyrical miniature combining expressiveness, flexibility, elegance, brilliance and virtuosity.

The project was attended the by students and teachers of arts of secondary schools number 4 and 9. The graduates of Arts and Pedagogics Department of previous years, like Olexandr Kravchenko, Viktoriya Khomenko, Nataliya Masalitina, Olena Andreeva, Natalia Oleynik, Dmytro Tkachuk, Lesya Bilokhatyuk truly impressed everyone with their creativity. Popular waltz songs were performed by Oleksandr Osadchiy, the Vice-Rector of Social Affairs of the University, trade union chairman, and Associate Professor.

This innovative activity of teaching staff provides an opportunity for every student of Arts and Pedagogics Department to utilize their rights for creative and professional development of future teachers of art and aesthetic programs.
