The Innovative Business and the USPU Economics Department has initiated and started "Introduction to Business" training course late March, 2014. The objective of the course is to develop the necessary set of professional knowledge in students, to introduce the theoretical and practical basics of running a business.

The first lecture was delivered by Tetiana Komar, the Dean of the Economics Department, PhD. The participants had an opportunity to go through an interesting test which would enable everyone to assess their skills of running a business.

During the learning process, the students will gain knowledge and skills required for a prospective entrepreneur and start a business. In the learning process the students will have the opportunity to get familiarized with all the necessary techniques and methods of decision- making at different enterprises and to obtain the necessary skills to develop business plans.

What makes a business flexible, maneuverable and effective in a market economy, considering the costs? How to be close to the customers, respond quickly to the changes in demand and take into account the wishes of the customers. Business is a sure employment of most of the population along with the well-being and it plays a politically stabilizing role in the society.
