Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University held a meeting with participants of academic mobility and presentation of new opportunities for study abroad.

The event was opened and conducted by the international cooperation coordinator Olga Sushkevych, who outlined the prospects of participation in the programs of academic mobility in Portugal, Poland, China, Hungary, and the new training program «Mevlana» in Turkey.

The meeting was attended by the Polish delegation, including director of the Institute of Polish Philology, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Adam Rehievich and Coordinator of International Cooperation, Dr. Krzysztof Tchaikovskyi. The guests presented new opportunities for double diploma, education and training at Jan Dlugosz Academy in Czestochowa.

The graduates of different programs shared their experiences in studying at foreign partner institutions of higher education. In turn, student of the History Department Aliona Dabizha and student of Ukrainian Philology Department Svitlana Volyk told about their experience in studying at Jan Amos Komensky State Higher School of Professional Education (Leszno, Poland). Student of Foreign Languages Department Yana ​​Voychyshena described the features of studying at the University of Porto (Porto, Portugal). The scholarship holder and participant of government program of the Chinese People's Republic Yuliya Tanasiychuk informed about the studying at Shanghai Pedagogical University and stressed on the features of Chinese education and culture.

After the meeting the students and lecturers had the opportunity to talk with members of programs and the Polish delegation personally.

This event has become an effective tool of extension the idea of the university community about the possibility to participate in the exchange programs of academic mobility at the international level.
