Team of athletes of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University took part in the championship of Athletics held at the "Umanfermmash" stadium. Our boys and girls competed with the athletes from other universities, colleges, schools, youth sports schools of Uman.

The program included the following kinds of sports: Running (100, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meters), long jumps, shot throw, discus throw, hammer throw, javelin throw and relay race 4 to 100 m.

Our team consisting of 25 athletes showed good results and won 11 prizes. The winners were Yevgen Biley, Roman Kulikovskiy, Andriy Boroday, Vitaly Tkach, Denys Lisetskiy, Igor Boyko, Anastasia Skorynina, Kateryna Bogush, Valentyna Kharchenko, Maryna Ignatenko.

The most pleasant surprise from the team was the first place in the relay 4 to 100m with participation of Yevgen Biley, Sergiy Sidorenko, Sergiy Kashperskiy, Roman Kulikovskiy and second place won by the girls Tatiana Chornokozynska, Inna Tsyganenko, Anna Kryva, Anastasia Skorynina.
