Recent New Year’s and Christmas holidays bring hope and make believe in wonder. Children believe that their dreams come true on these holidays. Kids of Uman Children’s Home for pre-school and junior school age received presents from students, PhD students and lecturers of Nature and Geography Department at USPU.

On the initiative of workers of scientific and research laboratory “Ecology and Education”, they visited the establishment, congratulated their colleagues and children on holidays. The children got alternative New Year’s trees, made by students of our university. The kids were amazed by huge original snowman, made from 450 plastic cups. Guests round danced with children by New Year’s tree.

It was the forth time of organizing similar events. Nature and Geography Department keeps on its own initiative that has become a tradition – to present children goods, chosen from traditional exhibition of alternative fir trees.
