It has become a tradition to hold the ceremony - presentation of Certificates to Preparatory Department students who have been under the guidance of experienced teachers within six months preparing for the independent assessment of the quality of education.

On the 18^th of May 200 students coming from six Oblasts of Ukraine received the Certificates. They celebrated this first victory with their parents in an interesting way of learning and development in the professional field. The knowledge gained during the Preparatory courses will be useful for the future applicants in the preparation for external evaluation and admission to higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

The University Administration, institute Directors, Department Deans, and teachers were invited to the ceremony. Symbolic Certificate of completion of the Preparatory courses was presented by Olexandr Bezluydny, the first Vice-Rector of the University, many kind words were said by the teachers of the Preparatory courses. Svitlana Cymbal-Slatvinska, Head of the Preparatory courses center, congratulated the students on the completion of the courses and wished them the further discoveries in science. The students and their parents were in a good – humored disposition due to the creative ensembles of the University – the “Orion” Rock Band, Yuliya Lysyanska - the student of Arts and Pedagogics Department, Diploma winner in Ukrainian Olympiad in music, Volodymyr Derenyuk, the student of Arts and Pedagogics Department, the winner of the national and international contests, the Grand Prix winner of the "Song Opening Day" contest, the winner of the nationwide music contest.

Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University that always maintains a spirit of generosity, virtue, free thinking and innovation, opens the door to the future applicants to allow them fully unleash their potential and achieve their goals.
