At Social and Psychological Department of USPU was held a presentation of Josip Skarbovskyi’s books. Poet Josip Skarbovskyi is an honourable member of Kazakhstan Poetry Academy, prize winner of some international poetic competitions, Henrich Heine (Germany) Bronze Medal laureate, Interregional Writer’s Union, acting member and professor at Russian literatute and fine arts named after H.R. Derzhavin. He is a laureate of O.S. Pushkin Golden Medal and F. M. Dostoyevskyi Medal (Saint-Petersbourg).

At the meeting the poet presented his project “100 verses about war”. Students listened to his poems, set to music and singed by choir in admiration.

Such meetings are very necessary. They testify to the fact that our memory is everlasting and new generations will keep it in acknowledgement for World War II veterans’ contribution to our fate and life.
