On the 10th-11th of November at International exhibition centre (Kyiv) was held ecology forum “Utilization of Waste Products in Ukraine: Legislation, Economics, and Technologies”. In all the forum’s events participated ecologists from Chemistry, Ecology and their Teaching Methods Chair (professor Svitlana Sovhira, PhD student Nataliya Dushechkina).

Members of forum welcomed acting Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Sergiy Kurykin, deputy head of Supreme Council of Ukraine Committee in ecological policy, management of nature and Chornobyl disaster consequences utilization Oleg Nevada, responsible for UNO Development Program in Ukraine Sergiy Volkov, head of All-Ukrainian ecology league, head of National Ecology Council of Ukraine Tetyan Tymochko, representatives of central and regional organizations.

During the forum were raised the following problems: restructuring of system of utilization of waste products in terms of decentralization of authority in Ukraine; peculiarities of utilization of medical and pharmaceutics waste products in Ukraine; introducing of combined organization and economic system in utilization of waste products of production final consumption; legal regulation of solid waste products in Ukraine, etc.

Besides, the forum participators had a chance to visit thematic exhibitions “Communtech”, “Energy efficiency. Renewed energetics”, “Ecology of enterprise”.
