A student of Foreign Languages Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Oksana Melnychuk won a scholarship and started 10 month studying by a program Eminence II at the University of Rovira and Virgil (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). This is a state university in Tarragona (Spain).

University Rovira i Virgili is one of the leading universities in Spain. It is a whole complex of campuses, departments, technical schools and colleges, which are combined into a single training center. University education in Tarragona dates back to the 16th century, when Cardinal H.Haeta founded the first school for teaching grammar, art and theology. Over the centuries there were different department and courses of humanities and sciences.

Only in 1991 there was a modern Universtitet Rovira i Virgili, founded by the decision of the Parliament of Catalonia. Currently, it brings together 12 departments with 13 thousand students from all over Spain.

It's nice that our student Oksana Melnychuk is among the other students. It tells how pleasant was the first meeting at the university with lecturers, who greeted with the beginning of the term and gave further instructions. Now Oksana is happy to attend each class, they are incredibly interesting, because teachers submit material in a professional manner. "Every step is discovering something new - says Oksana. - I examine the culture of Tarragona. I am also impressed with the beauty of the city, the locals are very friendly, so I'm just enjoying the pastime in Spain. I have also visited Reus, Barcelona and some neighboring towns".
