On May 28, open Uman and Cherkasy region championship on continental press has been held based in the entertainment and sports complex "Amarant". 40 sportsmen took part at the competition. Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was represented by the lecturer of Sports Disciplines Chair of the Department of Physical Education, Ph.D. (Pedagogics) Ruslan Masliuk and the first year student of the Department of Physical Education Vladyslav Moshenskyi.
According to the results of the competition Ruslan Masliuk won the second place in the 55 kg category of men (Open) with a score of 94 repetitions. Vladyslav Moshenskyi won the first place in the category of 55 kg among juniors with a score of 69 repetitions.
On June 5 in Vinnytsia our sportsmen will participate in the Super Cup of Ukraine on continental press. We wish them victories.
