Representatives of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University successfully performed at VII Championship of Ukraine in powerlifting and separate exercises (UNPF), which was recently held in Kyiv. In the framework of the competitions took place the selection to male mixed team of Ukraine that would represent our country at International Tournament in Minsk (Republic of Byelorussia).

In the tournament participated at about 100 sportsmen. In spite of competition, a student of Physical Education Department at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, master of sports of international level Christina Malachevska and a lecturer of sports disciplines, master of sports of international level Serhiy Ilchenko demonstrated good preparation and high results.

Christina performed in the nomination of 35 kg with a result 74 repetitions and took I place.

Serhiy Ilchenko participated in 2 nominations: barbell 75 kg and 100 kg. USPU lecturer didn’t give his competitors any chance and demonstrated an excellent result: 60 repetitions (barbell 75 kg) and 39 repetitions (barbell 100 kg). Thus, Serhiy Serhiyovych was included into a mixed team of Ukraine and would soon perform in the international competition.
