The Foreign Languages Department at Pavlo Tychyna ??Uman State Pedagogical University held the "Partnership of universities, schools and NGOs in the training of teachers of foreign languages?" roundtable attended by the teachers of Uman, Uman and Monastyrysche Raions, teachers of T.G. Shevchenko Uman Humanitarian Pedagogical College, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, representatives of the British Council in Ukraine and representatives of the Peace Corps.

The panelists listened to the presentation of two projects dedicated to the partnership in the training of teachers of English. The first of these was "The partnership of school and university: Ukrainian experience in professional training of teachers" presented by Svitlana Tezikova, the Dean of Foreign Languages ??Department at Nizhyn State University, Ph.D., Associate Professor. The experience in implementing the project evoked everyone’s interest, increased the quality of teaching English of the Nizhyn experts and dwelled on the current requirements of university professional training inherent in a globalized world.

The second project initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine has been started. The theme of the project is "The school Teacher of the new generation." It was presented by Viktoriya Ivanischeva, the Manager on Partnerships and Projects of the British Council in Ukraine. All the interested people were participating in the discussion and despite the differences of opinions everyone agreed that only the coordinated work of all partners - schools, universities and community organizations contributes to the success of training of school teachers of English.
