Scientists of scientific and research laboratory “Ecology and Education” at Nature and Geography Department organized a one-day scientific and ecological expedition with nature protection aim (director Svitlana Sovhira). The expedition joined lecturers Ganna Goncharenko, Andriy Maksutov and PhD students Natalia Dushechkina, Olena Zadorozhna.

The aim of the action was to ground scientifically creation of hydrological reserve “Cascade of Sources”.

The reserve (3 hectares) is situated on the territory of Stepashkinska village council at Gaisyn district, Vinnytsia region. They have already found, investigated and cleaned 8 sources.

The expedition coincided with probation period (social and economic geography, chemical and technological geography) of forth-year students at Nature and Geography Department. The student cleaned there 5 sources.

Decision on creation hydrological reverse “Cascade of Sources” is expected from the village council.
