A project “Unique country means unique educational space” has been initiated in the framework of the action “Ukraine is a unique country” and in support of USPU Department of Economics dean, Assistant Professor Tetyana Ponedilchuk. From now on students have a possibility to participate in on-line lectures of leading specialists in some branches of science.

In November, 14 students in speciality “Personnel Management and Labour Economics” and “Marketing” listened to the lecture read by Victor Shulga, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Assistant Professor of Eastern European University of Economics and Business and Ivan Zhurakovsky, entrepreneur, professional couch, charitable fund “2012 Resistence Point” director.

Victor Shulga defined the main problems of labour resources management and suggested the solutions to these problems in terms of informational society. In particular, he stressed that influence of informational society development on labour resources management has been great. For example, the companies which have good results in information processing, are more competitive. There also exiat new forms of employment, i.e. part-time employment, distance work. But it creates problems of strict schedule, personal worker’s positioning not with a company, but in acoordance with speciality, language barrier, etc.

Ivan Zhurakovsky conducted training about conflict management problem solving in organization, leadership phenomenon and “respect of authority”. Zhurakovsky sticks to the point that it is neccesary to “respect the authority” of each worker: not only manager, but technical personnel (who has also some kind of power) for company’s efficiency. The couch recommended the students, “Before you start your own business, it would be worth to wok as a subordinate at first in the company with the same specialization”.

Lecturers involved our students in discussion and made them ask interesting questions. The problems of the discussion are urgent and important for future specialists’ professional development.
