Recently was held II International Olympiad in English Gniezno-Uman 2015, which was organized by primary school №3 named after Saint Wojciech (Gniezno), general education school №7 and №14 (Uman), Institute of European Culture of Adam Mickiewicz University in Gniezno, and Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

The tests consisted of reading comprehension, reading, grammar and vocabulary sections, which were made up by USPU professor Oksana Zabolotna. As independent observers were present lecturers of the English Language and its Methods of Teaching – senior lecturer O.V. Kovalenko and lecturer I. V. Kholod.

The aim of the Olympiad was improvement of language skills, opportunity to confirm knowledge in foreign language, the English language popularization and encouragement to competition.
