On the 21st – 31st of March 2015, in the town of Liptovsky Mikulas was held XI-th International Children’s Festival-contest “Mountain constellation – aspiration, fantasy, flight”. Third year student of Instrumental Performance Chair at Arts and Pedagogics Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University Oleksandr Cherevchenko (class of doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of of Instrumental Performance Chair Olena Ustymenko-Kosorich) has become a prize winner in the nomination “Instrumental genre”.

Among 40 representatives from different countries (Greece, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Chech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Russia, Romania, Ukraine and others) Oleksandr was the best, and he performed his contest’s programme on the high level. The members of the international jury defined him as a winner unanimously. Such high international assessment of masterly performance of our student testifies to the high level of lecturers’ pedagogical skills, leading ranking of music education of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University at the international scene.
