A regional scientific and methodical seminar "New approaches to teaching practice organization of future teachers of English" took place at Foreign Languages department in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University in terms of a joint project of MES of Ukraine and British Council of Ukraine "New Generation School Teacher".

Vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation of the university, Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor Vladylena Sokyrska and acting Dean of Foreign Languages Department, Ph.D.in Pedagogics, Associate Professor Iryna Postolenko greeted the participants.

Head of the Laboratory of Teaching Foreign Languages of Regional Center for Teaching Foreign Languages of Foreign Languages Department, Head of English Language and Methods of its Teaching Chair, Ph.D.in Pedagogics, Associate Professor Alla Hembaruk informed about the joint project of MES of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine "New Generation School Teacher" and a new program on methods of teaching English.

Deputy Dean for teaching practice of Foreign Languages Department, Ph.D. in Pedagogics, Associate Professor Olena Bevz talked about new approaches to teaching practice of future teachers of English.

As part of the seminar Olena Bevz also held training "The new format of educational practice in English", where teachers and lecturers were asked to work with tasks similar to those students would work during their teaching practice at schools.

During the work with tasks teachers have identified new forms of students' practice and difficulties in the work on a particular type of task. After the seminar, all participants received certificates.
