Traditionally, there was held a meeting of the university administration and Student Council. This meeting was dedicated to International Students Day. Head of Student Council Eugenia Boroday in her speech stressed the importance of this holiday, which unites young people all over the world. This time students came on the occasion of both holidays – Student Day and 85th anniversary of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

Students welcomed the guests and prepared interview. Pro-rectors and deans should have honestly answered the questions about student life, told an interesting story from their student life, or described an interesting event. Student Council wanted to get to know what in common students of different generations had and what different was.

Memories of bright moments of their student life shared first pro-rector, professor Andriy Gedzyck, pro-rector in scientific work and international cooperation Vladylena Sokyrska, pro-rector in scientific and pedagogical work Olena Kirdan, rector’s assistant Dmytro Baldynyuk, head of trade union committee Oleksandr Osadchyi.

Student Council conducted sociological poll “Lecturer of my dream”. Among the qualities described by students were: creativity, sense of humour, culture, understanding, respectability, strictness. Deans of the departments described their perfect future students.

Such events give strength and optimism to lecturers to teach talented, witty and clever youth of USPU.
