"Miss USPU 2014" was elected on May 28 in the assembly hall of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. This year 12 beauties competed for the title of the most beautiful girl. The University Rector was present at the concert to support the contestants. She encouraged the girls with warm words and inspired them for a successful performance.



The participants could show themselves in 6 contests. Thus, in the first one named "Ukrainian dresses" the girls faced the audience as sincere Ukrainian women and charming patriots of our country. The "Videocard" contest was an opportunity for each contestant to introduce herself and talk about her life. A walk in business suits showed the girls from another side - as graceful and stylish contemporary women! They could combine the beauty and intelligence in the intellectual contest. But a woman can not be just beautiful and graceful – there should be something special about her. And the next contest was enabling women to shine in the creative activities.











Then a walk in the evening gowns ... Charm and softness of our women fascinated everyone and sophisticated dresses emphasized the beauty of every contestant. In addition to the contest, the audience were entertained by the talents of the best performances of the University, namely Oleksandr Kolomiiets, Yulia Lysyanska, Roman Datsko, "Visavi" Modern Dance amateur folk ensemble, "Yavoryna" national amateur folk dance ensemble, sport performances of the students of Physical Training Department. The audience was deeply moved. Everyone was surprised by a great performance of the invited guests - a pair of acrobats Olga Myekhova and Oleg Kolisnichenko. All performances were initiated by choreographer Yana Psaruk and other events were organized by the University Student Council.







The holiday came to an end and each girl got her reward. Olena Polovka, the student of Nature and Geography Department became "Miss USPU 2014", the title of the "1 Vice-Miss" was awarded to Anna Misyura (Foreign Languages ??Department), the “2Vice-Miss” was Yevgenia Kol'tsova (Physical Training Department).


The nominations were distributed as follows: Maria Tarasyuk - "Miss creativity" (Preschool Education Department); Natalia Ohrimenko - "Miss tenderness" (Economics Department); Olena Tsyosenko became "Miss Grace" (Technology and Pedagogics Department); "Miss Artistry" was Sofia Solomacha (History Department); "Miss Elegance" became Marina Ponomarenko (Primary Education Department); "Miss Exclusive" – Daryna Kravets (Sociology and Psychology Department); "Miss Talent" – Victoria Guseva (Ukrainian Philology Department); "Miss Erudition" - Inna Kryvoruchko (Physics and Mathematics Department); "Miss Charm" - Maryna Marinchenko (Arts and Pedagogics Department).


In addition, the contestants had the opportunity to reward one of the girls with the title of "Miss Sociability." It was awarded to Victoria Guseva. Equally important was recognition and love of the audience and their nomination of "Miss People's Choice" the winner of which was Marina Marinchuk.

The sponsors of "Miss USPU 2014" also made their presents to the contestants. Thus, Marina Marinchenko was photographed by Liliya Datska, Anna Misyura got 2 tickets to the concert of "Okean Elzy" from "Umanpyvo" company, and representatives of “PROdvyzhenye” advertising agency awarded Yevgenia Kol'tsova with a prize.
