At Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was held a meeting of mayor of Uman Oleksandr Tsebriy and rector, professor Oleksandr Besludniy, and after – with workers at History Department. The topic of the meeting was Uman’s history, in particular, 400th anniversary of first written mentioning the city. Oleksandr Volodymyrovych informed the department’s sstudents and lecturers on preparation actions to celebrate the event. The mayor also told about social and charity projects, planned in our city.

Mayor takes care of the city, solves problems that disturb the youth. Students of History Department were interested in reforms of medicine, setting up a parking place near dendrological park “Sofiivka”, security matters and organization of leisure activity in ancient Uman.

After the conversation head of Student Council Yulia Pokholiuk thanked Oleksandr Volodymyrovych for his attention to youth problems and presented a collection of works of History Department’s student literary studio “Poetic Clio”.

Acting dean of History Department, candidate of philosophical sciences, professor Anatoliy Karasevych thanked the mayor for the interesting meeting and paying attention to problems of education. Anatoliy Oleksandrovych presented Oleksandr Tsebriy an author collection of poetry “Philosophy of the War”.
