An exhibition of paintings by Nikas Safronov, an Honored Artist of Russian Federation, took place on the 8^th of August in the Cherkassy regional museum. On August the 17th Nikas Safronov received the invitation from Sergey Tulub, the Head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, to come to Cherkasy to meet with the fans of his works. Not only the residents of Cherkasy, ??but also many people from Uman and even Ternopil came to meet the world-famous artist.

Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University and the employees of the Department of Fine Arts Olga Musyka and Victor Lysynyuk also attended the meeting with the famous artist. They had an opportunity to get familiarized with his works and to talk to him. By the way, the great artist agreed to visit our University in Uman.

The exhibition was presented by the 40 paintings reflecting all of the major areas of work of the artist - mystical realism, graphics, portraits and landscapes.

Nikas Safronov was happy to communicate with his fans, answer the questions and wish the young students of Art to work hard to achieve success.
