“My nation exists! My will always exist! Nobody will destroy my nation!” – this was a motto of the meeting of Primary Education Department students and lecturers with volunteers and soldiers of ATO in the framework of city action “Happy New Year, a soldier!”

The welcoming speech made a dean of Primary Education Department, professor Borys Yakymchuk. He thanked the soldiers who protect our Motherland.

The event’s participants commemorated perished soldiers and peaceful inhabitants of the East by a minute of silence.

Students of Primary Education Department and Choreography band “Step Forward” prepared a small concert for the guests. A student of group 11 Natalia Alekseeva recited a touching poem “About ATO”. Mother’s, wife’s, and sisters images, waiting for their sons, husbands and brothers, were depicted in choreography staging “Sisters” by “Step Forward”.

Nowadays hundreds thousands patriots of our country are in the front, protecting native Ukraine. Hundreds of wounded soldiers are cured in military hospitals. They need our attention, good words, and support. A poem “Cry, native Ukraine”, recited by a student of group 12 Iryna Naydyuk, depicts the before mentioned problem. The choreography staging “Stay alive” was dedicated to guests – defenders of our right to live in free and independent country. A member of volunteer centre “To the victory” Lyudmyla Bunina expressed her gratitude to the soldiers.

The second part of the meeting ws held in the form of interview. The students and lecturers posed a question about war action in the East of Ukraine. Our guests told about their participation in battles for our country. In the end of the event the students presented the soldiers food a flag with inscriptions of wishes.

The students and lecturers of Primary Education Department thanked soldiers for their courage, protection of our country from enemy.
