The scientific action at Instrumental Performance Chair of USPU Arts and Pedagogics Department is presented at a competition “The best action of Arts and Pedagogics Department in 2014” in nomination “The best scientific action”.

Scientific conferences and seminars conducting is like a holiday for their organizers, though it is not easy and responsible work. At Arts and Pedagogics Department the guests – friends, adherent, new colleagues are always welcomed. People communicate both during plenary meeting and the other planned actions. International scientific and practical conference “Theoretical and Methodological aspects of arts education: achievements, problems and perspectives” took place in autumn of the last year; in the framework of the conference was carried out master class in bayan performance by doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, head of Instrumental Performance Chair, Olena Ustymenko-Kosorich.

Olena Anatiliivna combined different kinds of pedagogical work: scientific, practical and concert. The action began with a well-grounded and an interesting report “Theoretical and methodological aspects in bayan and accordion performance development in Serbia and Ukraine (comparative analysis)”. In confirmation of her words, the pedagogue worked in the practical part of the action with the representative of Serbian Bayan School, 32 group student at Arts and Pedagogics Department, Boyan Vasich. As an illustration to the work they’ve chosen the first part of E. Mehul sonata (C-dur). After the sonata performance, culminating part of master class began – a concert of foreign students Darko Markovich and Kataryna Bogilevych, who study at prefessor’s Olena Ustymenko-Kosorich class. They performed the following songs: A. Malyh toccata, Byelorussian national song “Perepilochka” in adaptation of V. Kuznetsov, Malaguena by E. Lecuona, La Campanella by V. Vurtner.
