Research Library in cooperation with the Department of Pre-School and Correctional Education held a literary discussion on the topic of "A fun book is your joy" dedicated to the International Day of Children's Book. It was held in the reading room number 2.

The International Children's Book Day is celebrated annually on April 2. This holiday was established by the decision of the International Council for Children's Books. The main purpose of the celebration is to promote children's reading which is an effective tool for spiritual and intellectual development of a person.


The literary discussion was dealing with the current issues of children's books at this stage and analyzing the children's books which are specimen of high artistic culture – the prose and poetry that bring up a sense of beauty and make the life of children complete and more interesting. The students convinced everyone that children's books endow your child with kindness, inspire the child for noble thoughts from an early age, awaken the ability of helping the others, and promote moral formation. Honesty, willingness to fight for truth, integrity, respect for people and for yourself, love for knowledge and work, responsibility, sense of duty to the family, the father, the mother, the country is unobtrusively included in the child's mind through communication with a good book.



The participants thanked for interesting stories to students of group 22 Lilia Alekseeva, Anna Elfant, Daria Gromyko and students of group 23 Viktoriya Kirtsitska and Inna Ivaniuta.
