At Physics and Mathematics Department took place the festival “Ukrainian song brings us together”, which gave everybody fabulous impressions, positive emotions and warm feelings. This action was dedicated to Ukrainian culture, Ukrainian song, and the Ukrainian language popularization.

Ukrainian patriotic spirits hold the audience. By Ukrainian songs execution students affirmed their national and cultural identity. In each song there is our state history, its traditions, striving for self-determination, love to native country, optimism and believe in Ukrainian great future.

Among the concert participators were students in different years who amazed by their vocal and artistic skills both audience and jury members. Patriotic songs deepened into audience hearts and souls. There were Ukrainian jocular songs reframed by theatre performance. The performances were of high quality and jury, correspondingly, gave them the highest scores. First-year students were special, and amazed by their vocal and artistic skills, joyful spirit.

Separate attention drew foreign students who presented their national song. Students from Turkmenistan were impressed by positive and support delivered by our students.

The jury rewarded concert participators with diplomas in such nominations as, Ukrainian song future (group 11), Ukrainian song legends (group 13), Ukrainian song melodics (group 12), National song exclusive (group 22-A with students from Turkmenistan), Ukrainian song sincerity (group 22), Ukrainian song sample (groups 31-34), Ukrainian song standard (groups 41, 42). Besides, department administration treated all the participators of the song festival with sweets.

In the end everyone sang Ukrainian anthem. We are proud of our young generation; they will not let Ukrainian national songs to be forgotten. We are sure that they will carry them through ages. Nowadays we are writing another page of Ukrainian song history, and “Let’s hold Ukrainian wave together!”
