The exhibition of students’, lecturers’ and graduate students’ works of arts of USPU Imitative Chair is open at Uman Picture Gallery. The exhibition is dedicated to 25th anniversary of arts specialties in USPU; there you can find works carried out in different techniques – pictorial (oil, aquarelle, gouache, pastel, acrylic), graphic (graphite, pencil, ink, feather), and decorative arts (ceramics, batik, leather articles, glass painting). Each visitor can find something for his soul, for himself.
The presentation was held the last week and honorary guests congratulated the department on the holiday; among them deputy head of Uman mayor Ludmyla Kyrylyuk, head of Culture and Tourism City Department Tetyana Geyko, director of “Stara Uman” State Historical and Architectural Reserve Viktor Melnychuk, Uman painters, graduate students, students, people who like arts and world of beauty.
The exhibition was open by picture gallery director Tamara Gay who passed the word to pro-rector in humanitarian matters of USPU, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Dmytro Baldynyuk. He remembered the history of Music and Imitative Arts Chair creation 25 years ago (he was head of the chair).
Recollection of foundation and development of the chair, which is now expanded to Arts and Pedagogics Department consisting of 4 Chairs, were warm and honest. From the very beginning of the chair creation, it was headed by a talented artist, experienced and wise lecturer Vsevolod Syrota. Many efforts to specialties formation made Lecturers Mykola Pichkur, Yuriy Kovalenko, Oleksandr Udovenko, Gennadiy Kleshchar, Leonid Bazylchuk, Olga Muzyka (head of the chair since 2012), Olena Pobirchenko, Volodymyr Lopushan. Young lecturers joined the educational staff: Anatoliy Korol, Olena Semenova. Almost all of them were present at exhibition opening, they accepted gratitude and congratulations from former and present students. Among the exhibited works are painings by Maryna Pavlenko, Yaroslav Chyzhevsky, Vyacheslav Zapisetsky, Larysa Gomenyuk, Tetyana Korman, Marianna Malinovska, Taras Kozhushko, Zoya Kutetska, Maryna Savchenko (Yakovenko), Kateryna Papuashvili, Oksana Tymchyshyna, Nataliya Lutsenko, Yulia Avksentyuk, Tetyana Gorchynska, Viktor Lysynyuk, Mykhailo Nikitenko, Oleg Sattarov, Anna Suslenko, Alyona Iksar, Nataliya Tarasova, Yaroslava Serdyuk, Iryna Bilas, Iryna Yashchenko, Alina Shmygora, Lyudmyla Andriutsa. The exhibition also contains works of present students: Oksana Lavrychenko, Vita Katchur, Yulia Bilous, Yulia Gusovets, Nataliya Oliynyk, Olesia Romanchenko, Svitlana Vovkodav, and others. There are also lecturers’ works: Gennadiy Kleshchar, Olga Muzyka, Anatoliy Korol.
Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University graduates, students, lecturers of Imitative Art Chair exhibition will be open at Uman Picture Gallery until December, 19.
