Today Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University increasingly comes into the world educational space, because in the globalized world the assessment of the institution is not limited to its reflection in the mirror of national perception. Exploring the life of foreign universities within, lecturers and students brought new experience, ideas and vision to Uman. Recently, Ph.D., lecturer of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages Chair Galya Avchinnikova passed the teacher training at the Schiller International University (Heidelberg, Germany).
This university is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. It attracts students from all over the world by high quality education, experienced lecturers, the flexibility of the educational process, the opportunity for students to shape curriculum, individual attention to each student, the system of double diplomas (European and American standard), mobility (the ability to complete the course not only in Heidelberg (Germany), but also in Paris (France), Madrid (Spain), Tampa (Florida) and London (UK) because Schiller International University is a network of universities), the ability to practice and successful employment in prestigious organizations, companies, concerns, agencies, banks, etc., ecologically clean environment, rich culture and friendship of students from different nationalities, which often become business partners, studying and living in the ultra-modern buildings of the university.
During the training on “The educational process, modern teaching methods and organization of research: the experience of Schiller International University” program (total 112 hours) Rector of the university Michael Reynon addressed a welcoming speech to the participants of internship from Ukraine and introduced them to the conditions of education and residence. In turn, the Dean of Academic Affairs, doktor Nikol Makha informed about the features of the educational process at Schiller universities, emphasizing that their internationality has always been on a top. Director of the University Admission Branislav Luik outlined the requirements for admission.
Galyna Avchinnikova together with other participants had the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops, work with the library fund, communicate with teachers and students, explore the campus and learning environment, living conditions and leisure of students - which is also an important part of their lives (parties, themed balls, etc.).
Successfully organized trip program involves not only training at Schiller International University in Heidelberg, but also visiting five cities in Europe! Thus, the program of the tour included Prague (Czech Republic), Berlin, Dresden, Cologne, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Frankfurt (Germany), Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Wroclaw (Poland ).
